This is the type of response you could expect in the US. Koreans are more civilized and have the ability to maintain the respect for such a design.

How do you expect to complete any future renovations or construction projects? Day construction interupts working people. Night construction interupts family time, recreation and sleeping people. This is why different buildings have different purposes. Agree with Al Vvi, it doesn't work in a real world.

Just wait until you have people who mis-treat the communal space because they don't personally own it. I feel like the person who developed the idea never went to college and experienced what happens to communal property in the long run(or read anything about just how much worse it gets when the scale increases, as in communist countries of the past). At the beginning there will be respect for the project, but as time goes on and just living there no longer provides a unique feeling of responsibility, people will utterly destroy the communal spaces. Sorry to say, but there's a reason why such a thing doesn't exist. Not to say people haven't tried...it just doesn't work.
