We enjoyed it immensely. We could hardly imagine a ship as grand as the Norwegian Gem. Although we had one to the smaller cabins it was well arranged and we managed fine - and slept very well. The food was great. The excursions were well organized and we saw world famous sites such as the coliseum, the Vatican, museum in Florence, palaces, to name a few. We had talked of a cruise for years but felt the cost may be too much. When we learned from a friend what the cost would be, we were amazed, and signed up. We are very glad we did.

Re: Norwegian Gem Freestyle Cruise

The Norwegian Gem sure isn't one of those cheap cruises everyone affords. I bet only eccentric rich people travel with it. All in all the cruise looks fantastic, it has everything one could wish for when going on a trip and even more. The 12 restaurants with culinary choices from around the world, including Chin Chin and Azura, Le Bistro French Restaurant, Teppanyaki Room and 24-hour casual Blue Lagoon diner knocked me down.

Re: Norwegian Gem Freestyle Cruise

Amazing cruise, i love travel, this cruise is very beautiful.

Re: Norwegian Gem Freestyle Cruise

I wish I could cruise in this fabulous ship, but hey, its well beyond my standards. If wishes were horses!
