I'd like to go there but everyone knows that nuclear fallout might exist there and I doubt you can be totally sure if it's safe.I think any nuclear fallout (if it exists on this island) lasts for many thousands of years.I know the nuclear tests were performed in the atmosphere very far above the island but i dunno...ofcourse it looks great, though.

This island has many coconut trees, which reminds me of Cebu Island where coconut is all over the place. Actually, they have a liquor there that's called Lambanog. That's made from coconut = ).

Hi Mr Davis,
There are only 8 guesthouses in Kiritimati, and one of them is Adventure Dive & Fishing Lodge.
The Lodge has a special rate for a group of 4 anglers is US$1800 for each angler covering an accommodation of 2 anglers shared a room, 3 meals a day, 6 days of fishing, boat hire & fuel, guiding of 1 guide per 2 anglers.

Christmas Island is one of the places on my wish list. I want to go there to spend a week fishing for bone fish and trevali. My goal is to go there next year.
